  • Mitie’s Plan Zero consultants will use 3D digital modelling software to understand how buildings will respond to different low and zero Carbon solutions

  • Mitie has secured a new maintenance services contract with the UK’s busiest international ferry port which welcomes over 11 million passengers each year
  • Initially running for four years, the contract will cover maintenance and new installations across the Port of Dover’s estate which ranges from industrial facilities to commercial office buildings and residential flats
  • The contract includes an annual innovation fund for investment to support the acceleration towards a technology-enabled port as well as to drive carbon reduction initiatives in line with the Port of Dover’s net zero strategy

  • Mitie also supported over 1,200 apprentices and volunteered almost 25,000 hours to local causes through FY24

  • Mitie will use innovative autoclave equipment that treats waste with high pressure steam which can then be recycled, which is a more sustainable method than the traditional high temperature incineration process
  • Mitie’s specialist clinical waste business, Cliniwaste, will be central to the delivery of the contract
