- Following a competitive tender, Mitie has successfully retained its contract with the Welsh Government to continue to deliver Facilities Management (FM) across its 21-building administrative estate
- Since the previous contract began in 2018, targeted initiatives have further reduced carbon emissions across the estate by 49%. Mitie will continue to build on this by reducing the carbon emissions by at least a further 5% over the potential life of the contract.
- £17.2 million will be invested into the local supply chain and the equivalent of over 16 years of apprenticeship training will be available to colleagues from the local community

- Mitie has secured an £11.8 million contract with Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT), supporting patient-centric services across five healthcare sites
- The contract includes cleaning, reception, security, waste management, shuttle bus operations and patient catering, plus service enhancements such as click-and-collect catering and smart portering technology
- Jobs and apprenticeships will be created for local residents as well as a commitment to 300 hours’ volunteering each year to uplift lives, through mentoring, education and supporting local healthcare charities

- Mitie is installing a solar carport at LEGOLAND® Windsor, developed and financed under Zestec Renewable Energy’s contract with Merlin Attractions Operations, generating over 1.1 million kWh annually and saving 195 tonnes of carbon emissions each year
- The solar energy will power the Legoland Resort and its new Woodland Village – LEGOLAND® Windsor and Merlin Entertainments’ first operationally carbon-neutral guest accommodation – and provide shaded parking for guests
- The project reflects Mitie and Zestec’s ongoing relationship to develop sustainable infrastructure and commitments to decarbonise the UK’s built environment

- Mitie has extended its integrated facilities management contract with Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK (TMUK) for an additional five years, building on a successful partnership established in 2019
- The contract will see Mitie continue to provide vital engineering, cleaning & hygiene, and landscaping services as well as supporting the specialist production operations at Toyota’s manufacturing plant
- Mitie is also supporting Toyota’s sustainability goals, having already helped reduce domestic water on-site
