- The Butler Trust is a charity that recognises the work of frontline custodial colleagues and HRH has personally presented its awards since 1985
- During her visit, HRH met with 2024 and 2018 Butler Trust Award winners Irfa Chaudhri and Jackie Smart, as well as many other frontline colleagues from across the Centre

- Mitie has secured a new five-year contract, worth £81.7 million, with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), with the option to extend for an additional two years
- Mitie will be responsible for planned and reactive engineering maintenance across 12 buildings at DVLA sites in Wales, bringing its innovative approach to remote maintenance
- In addition, Mitie is delivering decarbonisation projects including installing ground source heat pumps across DVLA sites to help the Agency to meet its Greening Government Commitments

- Mitie has secured a seven-year contract extension, worth £17 million per year, with Thales in the UK, part of the global technology group with markets in the defence and security, aerospace and space, digital identity and security
- The contract will see Mitie deliver integrated facilities management services, including energy management, cleaning, landscaping and security across 16 Thales sites across the UK, including its Reading headquarters
- Bringing its technology-led approach to facilities transformation, Mitie will install over 4,000 new sensors across the Thales estate to reduce the downtime and energy use of critical building systems, like heating and ventilation
