Utilyx, the specialist energy consultancy acquired by Mitie in January of this year, has appointed Jo Butlin as the new Managing Director. She starts in October.
Jo brings with her a wealth of experience from an extensive energy sector career at Powergen (latterly E.ON) and most recently at SmartestEnergy, one of the UK’s largest suppliers of renewable energy where she was VP Operations, covering both Generation and Retail customers.
Commenting on her appointment Jo said: “I am passionate about the energy market and really excited by the future challenge at Utilyx.
“There is a great opportunity ahead to leverage Utilyx’s consultancy skills with Mitie’s broader energy services capabilities within a reinvigorated CarbonCare proposition. The combination will not only benefit our clients but also strengthen our position as one of the UK’s top Energy Services Companies.”
