Mitie, the facilities management company, has been awarded a security contract with Interxion.
As part of the three year contract, Mitie’s security business, Total Security Management, has been providing manned security to its London data centre campus since February.
Interxion, who provide data centres with hard facilities as well as data management technology, awarded the contract to Mitie based on its sector expertise. Mitie‘s experience in critical security environments (CSE) and technology enhancements such as its online platform Mitsm, has been rolled out across the contract.
Mitsm, a multi-functional operational tool developed by Mitie, gives security officers oversight on all current jobs. The platform allows them to manage schedules and calendars, and prepare key performance information.
