Mitie, the facilities management company, has been appointed by London & Quadrant (L&Q) Housing Trust to deliver internal planned refurbishment works in London as a part of a 4 year framework worth up to £8m per annum.
As part of the contract, Mitie’s planned works team will be installing kitchens, bathrooms and other internal improvements within L&Q’s housing stock.
Mitie has already successfully delivered large programmes of work for L&Q since 2013. As a result of excellent work carried out by the team, the project, which originally focused on one area (hub), was extended to three hubs in 2014.
Mitie will be working in the Stratford and Garratt Hubs in east London and south London respectively. Pre-construction activities will commence in late spring 2015 with the works being delivered throughout the year.
