MITIE is delighted to announce that it has been appointed as the exclusive manned security partner to the New West End Company, the Business Improvement District (BID) that is responsible for enhancing and promoting retail around London’s Bond Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street areas. 

The three year contract which will commence on 1 June 2008, will see MITIE taking over the operation and management of the renowned ‘Red Cap Warden’ team which consists of 16 officers. The MITIE security team will be responsible for providing customer support and a visible security presence to aid the New West End Company in driving forward the West End to accommodate over 200 million visitors per year.
