MITIE pushes technological boundaries with Vpod Solutions and Condeco

MITIE’s Client Services business is delighted to announce its partnership with Condeco and Vpod Solutions to deliver an innovative workplace solution to transform the way organisations manage front-of-house services – from the minute a visitor walks through the door to the overall meeting, conference and office experience.

Working seamlessly together using leading-edge technology, fresh thinking and collaborative decision making, the partnership has encouraged their clients to use resources more efficiently, overcoming the issues of time, space and people that they constantly face.

Vpod products allow people to work independently of relative time zones and locations, empowering the individual with the choice of when and where to work. Condeco will provide the resource booking engine behind the solution to enable end users to simply manage and pre-book their visitors, desks, rooms and Vpod conference via a web interface. This will limit the time required when a visitor arrives to add their details and will ensure the pod and front of house teams know in advance who is arriving – providing an enhanced visitor experience for the guest and key data about visitor numbers and trends.

Lynda Lowe, sales and marketing director at Condeco, commented: “Each of the elements inherent in successful business relationships is evident in this partnership; teams working closely together, clearly defined shared objectives, demonstrable results and everybody working for the mutual benefit of one another. Our product and service offerings are truly complementary, allowing the end user to not only benefit from a seamless solution, but our combined experience and expertise as well.”

Liz Close, VP marketing, Vpod Solutions, added: “Our alliance with MITIE and Condeco offers a powerful combination of services that we can jointly deliver to our clients. We aim to offer visitor management and meeting experiences that are world-class and at the forefront of innovation and technology. The shared vision of the three companies means we can deliver customer centric solutions swiftly and effectively with the emphasis on the client’s specific needs.”

Debra Ward, managing director, MITIE Client Services also commented: “The collaboration of the three companies has enabled us to find cutting-edge solutions to critical resource management of time, space and people. We’re extremely excited about working with companies who have the same customer centric approach and unbridled pursuit for best practise.”

What is MITIE?
We’re the strategic outsourcing company. What does that mean in practice? We manage facilities, properties and assets for our clients across the UK and beyond.

We work with our clients in three ways; some take full advantage of our whole range of expertise, others may only need one aspect of what we do:

Strategy and consultancy
+ Facilities and project management
+ Service delivery

Our strategic input can add value at the highest level by helping clients to manage their assets, while our practical management expertise can save customers money and reduce their carbon emissions. We work with a vast number of clients in every industry across both the public and private sectors and deliver the broadest range of services that can be found in one place: from integrated facilities management to engineering maintenance to lifecycle energy management and much more.

There’s a lot more to MITIE than you probably think. We’re a big company with big ambitions – a leading FTSE 250 support services business, with more than 56,000 people, revenues in excess of £1.7bn, and a reputation for being the best.
