Mitie, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company, has been awarded two APMP UK Awards for its commitment to bid excellence.
APMP UK is the UK arm of the Association of Bid and Proposal Management Professionals, the body that defines and supports best practice in the areas of bids, proposals and business acquisitions. Each year APMP UK recognises the organisations, teams and individuals who have shone over the past 12 months.
Mitie’s integrated facilities management team was recognised in the innovation category for “fearlessly pushing the boundaries and challenging the status quo” (Ken Erskine, APMP UK CEO), while raising bidding and proposal standards within their own team and across the wider Mitie business.
Also awarded in the individual writing category was Mitie’s bid manager, Louise Rance, for regularly creating clear, concise and customer-focused bid material of a professional standard. Fellow bid manager, Kirsty Hayes was runner up in this category.
