Mitie, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company, has launched a new web-based tool designed to streamline security processes, manage tasks and record incidents more accurately to help mitigate clients’ security risks.
The security management and resilience tool (SMART) will streamline standard operating procedures (SOPs) with a fully auditable recording and reporting function and a primary alerting system for all major incidents. Once an incident has been identified, a report is created in real time with updates transmitted to the necessary stakeholders.
Mitie is the first security company to offer this type of system, which will see its clients move from traditional, cumbersome paper-based management to high-performing paperless control rooms.
SMART’s central management system leads to increased efficiency and consistency for clients, whether they have just two sites or an international multi-site portfolio.
