MITIE is pleased to announce that it has recently entered into a strategic partnership with leading global security and business intelligence provider Stirling Assynt.
The exclusive partnership will provide MITIE with the latest intelligence information from across Stirling Assynt’s global network which will be used to support MITIE’s key clients in planning their security strategy. MITIE customers will also now be able to access individual intelligence reports specific to their sector and operational footprint.
As part of the agreement, the two parties will launch a bi-monthly terrorism update providing security and facilities managers with an overview of the current activities of global terrorist networks and the threats they pose, as well as detailing their potential impact on the UK.
At the launch event held on 25 November, Stirling Assynt and MITIE brought together senior executives and security directors from many of the UK’s leading businesses at a special terrorism seminar chaired by His Grace The Duke of Westminster KG and addressed by Stirling Assynt’s global terrorism advisor. The seminar allowed attendees to debate the current risks facing UK businesses as well as the impact that the recent US elections may have on the global environment in the future.
Jeff Flanagan, Managing Director of MITIE’s security business commented “We’re committed to supporting our customers in the development of their security strategy. Access to quality intelligence is critical to this process and our partnership with Stirling Assynt will aid us to provide a global perspective. Stirling Assynt has gained a reputation as a leader in the provision of the latest information on the global terrorism environment and we’re delighted to be working with them to further expand their profile.”

About MITIE
We’re the strategic outsourcing and asset management company.
What does that mean in practice? Providing everything from strategic consultancy, to world-class delivery on the ground. From long-term infrastructure planning, to facilities management, property and engineering services. Our strategic input can add value at the highest level, while our practical management expertise can save customers money and maximise their returns.

We work with our clients in three ways; some take full advantage of our whole range of expertise by buying the whole suite, others may only need one aspect of what we do:
