Mitie celebrates five years as certified UK Top Employer

  • Mitie has been certified as a UK Top Employer for the fifth year in a row
  • The accreditation recognises Mitie’s dedication to creating a great place to work by delivering excellent HR policies and people practices
  • Mitie continues to offer market leading benefits to colleagues, while placing learning, development and career progression at the centre of its HR practices

The 2023 Top Employers were revealed today with Mitie recognised as a UK Top Employer for the fifth year running - showcasing its dedication to creating a great place to work, by delivering excellent HR policies and people practices.

Following an extensive evaluation process, Mitie’s entry stood out with the introduction of market-leading benefits, available for all 68,000 colleagues, including 24/7 access to a virtual GP service, life assurance, and salary advance. Mitie is also recognised for its focus on learning, development and career progression, placing these at the centre of its HR practices with the introduction of a dedicated development toolkit.

Since entering the Top Employer evaluation, Mitie also launched a £10m Winter Support package at the end of 2022, to help colleagues with the rising costs of living. The Winter Support package benefits 40,000 of Mitie’s lower paid colleagues, and includes a £50 e-voucher that can be used at over 100 retailers, as well as a one-off bonus of up to £125 and free Mitie shares for the third year running.
