Mitie has been awarded a three year contract with Santander.
The dedicated Financial Services team of Mitie's Environmental + business will provide cleaning services to around 1,000 Santander branches and banking centres across the UK. The contract will begin in March 2015 and will see over 1,000 people transfer across to the company.
Mitie already has a considerable presence on the high street, working with national retail banking brands.
Rob Cattell, managing director of Mitie’s Environmental+ business said: “Our team works on virtually every high street in the UK for a variety of brands and really understands the world of retail banking. We are looking forward to working with Santander and welcoming so many new people to the Mitie family.”
