Mitie has been awarded a contract with Marie Curie Cancer Care to provide cleaning and laundry services to their West Midlands Hospice and cleaning, laundry and hostess service to Cardiff & The Vale Hospice.
The contract will run for three years.
Each year Marie Curie provides free nursing care to terminally ill people and emotional support for their families in their own homes or in the charity’s nine hospices.
Mitie’s Environmental + healthcare team will now be dedicated to supporting them in two of these hospices.
The healthcare team provides specialist cleaning, domestic and patient dining services to several of the UK’s largest NHS trusts.
