Mitie’s Total Security Management business has appointed Ian Campbell as its new director for security systems.
Ian has significant expertise of security technology and will be working closely with the security systems team to enhance Mitie’s reputation as a leader in the design, installation and maintenance of integrated security systems to customers in all business sectors.
Campbell brings a wealth of experience to the role, with a 30 year career in the armed forces and security industry holding senior management roles.
The 46-year old joins Mitie after three years at G4S Secure Solutions UK where he was a director responsible for improving the national business performance and establishing a clear strategy for the business unit. Ian’s remit was extensive covering new product development, business improvement initiatives and customer and employee satisfaction and retention.
Ian began his career in the armed forces where he served for nearly two decades. He served as a qualified Communications Systems Engineer and progressed to Operations Officer to Tri Service Specialist technical Surveillance and Intelligence Unit. Campbell was also the Chief Instructor to UKSF communications and systems technical department.
