MITIE is pleased to announce that its security business has recently entered into a strategic partnership with SSS Management Services Ltd. that will support them in jointly developing their provision of integrated response and electronic security services.
The partnership, which commenced at the beginning of May following a six month trial, will enable MITIE to expand its services to businesses looking to combine the installation and maintenance of their CCTV and access control systems with real-time remote monitoring, access and egress control and CCTV patrol capabilities.
As part of the agreement, MITIE will relocate its existing remote monitoring activities to SSS’ state of the art communications centre in Bristol providing MITIE’s clients with access to improved stability in operating platforms and enhanced monitoring performance.
The new partnership will also see the two companies developing a new and integrated response service which will combine SSS’ alarm receiving capabilities with the dedicated national response service which MITIE launched in April. Clients of both organisations will benefit from access to a single package that comprises both alarm receiving and response.
To further enhance this, SSS will progressively take over responsibility for the despatching and controlling of MITIE’s response team when on the road helping to further reduce response times.
