Mitie and Golding recognised at the Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards

Golding Services – the repairs and maintenance arm of Golding Homes housing association and Mitie Property Services – has picked up two awards at the Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards.

Golding Services – the repairs and maintenance arm of Golding Homes housing association and Mitie Property Services – has picked up two awards at the Kent Housing Group Excellence Awards.

Held last month at Oakwood House in Kent, the awards recognise projects in the housing sector that demonstrate excellence in the delivery of high quality services, as well as teams or individuals who have made a valuable contribution to the sector.

Golding Services picked of the Excellence in Repairs and Maintenance award for its contribution to the sector. Having only been set up four years ago as the wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) of Golding Homes and Mitie, Golding Services has delivered 66,000 repairs and improved customer satisfaction to 95 per cent, with 99 per cent of repairs being completed on time.

Additionally, Golding’s partnership work with Garden Organic to create a community garden at Walshaw and Telford was recognised in the Excellent Partnership with Business category.

Kent Housing Group is a forum for social housing organisations in Kent and has representation from all twelve Kent local authorities, Medway Council, over sixteen housing associations and Kent County Council. The aim of the Kent Housing Group is to represent the collective voice of Kent’s housing bodies for the benefit of Kent residents.
