Enara, the fourth largest provider of home care services in the UK, has announced the opening of two new offices in Exeter and Bristol. The investment in the South West will expand Enara’s care offering and create at least 23 new jobs in the area.
Enara, part of FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company Mitie, provides high quality home care, delivering a wide range of services to people who require help and support due to illness, disability or infirmity.
The new offices will bring a raft of job opportunities to both cities, including ten new full-time care staff and two office staff in Exeter, as well as ten care staff in Bristol. With plenty of work available throughout the region, both centres will focus on on-going recruitment as services develop.
Enara already has a significant presence in the South West, with over 500 employees in the region able to provide up to 16,000 hours of care to the local community. The new openings will build on established centres in Plymouth, Enara’s largest care centre, as well as Okehampton, Bristol and the surrounding areas.
The move to larger premises in Bristol, the second largest in the region, will allow for increased demand from local residents, allowing over 100 carers to work across the area.
In Exeter, Enara has invested in opening an entirely new branch, focused on serving the city as it continues to grow and diversify. The new facility will be able to provide care for up to 100 people in the local area.
As part of the new openings Enara has appointed two new registered managers: Kerrie Graham in Bristol, and Nena Martin-Harris in Exeter. Both bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the sector and are committed to developing quality services in the area.
Wayne Felton, Strategic Director of Healthcare for Mitie, said, “I’m delighted that we are investing in and expanding our service provision in the South West, which is an important growth area.
“We’re committed to continually improving our services and always keeping the people we look after as our number one priority. The new offices in Bristol and Exeter will allow us to improve access and involvement for our customers, service users and employees.”
