Leading outsourcing company MITIE has announced that Kerry Sheehan has been appointed Director of its new „National Mobile Services‟ business which launches this April. 

National Mobile Services merges MITIE‟s Lighting and Multi-site FM operations to create a unified business under which it will deliver mobile technical facilities management services across the UK. 

Kerry Sheehan has been with MITIE since 2004 having previously undertaken senior operational management roles in both the south-west region and national lighting businesses. 

Kerry now heads up a new team with over 700 staff, making it one of the largest mobile technical operations of its kind in the UK with national geographical spread. 

The whole operation will be driven through MITIE‟s central Customer Service Centre, providing fast and responsive technical maintenance services to all building assets, including lighting, for major UK organisations with widely spread property portfolios. 

By bringing these two operations together, MITIE will be able to manage resources more efficiently, providing greater flexibility and greater consistency of service delivery across the UK. 

Kerry Sheehan said: “As a result of these changes our clients will benefit from faster reaction times, enhanced service levels and better value for money. Our service delivery will be totally focussed on the end user with MITIE engineers regarded as an integral part of the client‟s local team as they maintain, own and deliver essential technical services.”
