MITIE has secured a three-year contract to provide building repair services to Allianz Insurance customers nationwide. 

The FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing and energy services company will work with insurance customers seeking to outsource all, or part of, the management and delivery of domestic and commercial property insurance claims. 

This outsourced approach to building repair means that insurance claims can be handled efficiently and quickly, in line with customers’ policy requirements. 

Ian Guest, property claims supply manager at Allianz Insurance, said: “We were impressed with MITIE’s vision of how a repair network should and indeed could operate, coupled with the wealth of building services experience and expertise the wider group brought to the table. 

MITIE has been appointed to a panel of two networks, alongside MA Assist, and will work in conjunction with our surveyor led model provided by Imperial Consultants and BCS. 

We are extremely confident that MITIE will deliver exceptional service to our customers, which is our number one priority.”

MITIE will carry out a range of services including plastering and decorating, roof repairs and replacing damaged kitchens and bathrooms.
