Interserve Group Limited, the international support services, construction and equipment services group, has won a contract extension worth more than £15 million with Land Securities Group Plc to deliver a range of services at four major retail centres in the UK.
Landsec is the largest commercial property development and investment company in the UK. The one-year contract extension, which can be extended for a further year, involves circa 520 employees providing facilities management, customer service and security services at Landsec’s retail centres in Leeds, Cardiff, London and Oxford.
Landsec awarded the new contract based on Interserve’s integrated capabilities and expertise in providing best-in-class customer solutions to complex national contracts. A key achievement during the initial three-year contract involved Interserve supporting Landsec in the opening of its Westgate retail centre in Oxford, with one hundred Interserve colleagues now dedicated to providing excellent FM services on site.
