Mitie partners with Stratas to offer complete document digitisation

Mitie’s document management business has partnered with technology solutions provider, Stratas, to launch end-to-end document and business process automation in a multi-million pound deal.

The Stratas team has been successfully providing automation and digital transformation for more than 15 years. Combined with Mitie’s 20 years’ experience in providing document management workflows and services to clients, the new partnership will provide a premium-class full service offer.

Stratas and Mitie will work together to review customers’ existing processes and then implement programmes to optimise efficiencies. Mitie has a processing centre in Birmingham which provides services such as hybrid mail, digital mail, invoice processing and scanning and will provide the workflow and delivery of services.

With a focus on simplifying the often complex and overwhelming process for businesses wishing to become a digital enterprise, Mitie and Stratas believe this to be the next generation of document and information management.

One of the UK’s largest property management companies is already realising the benefits of the partnership. After appointing Mitie and Stratas to manage their two million mail items earlier this month, they have made immediate savings of around 30% on the cost of sending a mail item.

In addition to cost savings, the partnership boasts other benefits to businesses, including:
