Mitie bolsters corporate affairs team with three new hires

Mitie Group plc today announces that it has appointed three new communications practitioners to its corporate affairs team.

Mitie Group plc today announces that it has appointed three new communications practitioners to its corporate affairs team. Claire Lovegrove joins as Head of Media Relations, Anna Gavrilova joins as Head of Investor Relations, whilst Jade Eva joins as Head of Internal Communications for Business Units.

This follows the appointment of Tori Cowley as Group Director of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations who joined Mitie on 20 September 2017.

Claire Lovegrove has managed external communications for a number of household brands in both the technology and banking sectors. With experience in B2B technology companies such as Expedia and Sony, she also has significant expertise managing issues and transformation programmes having worked at both Halifax and Lloyds Banking Group during the credit crunch, and more recently relaunching TSB back on the high streets across Britain.

Having started her career in capital markets research and completed a MSc in Finance from London Business School, Anna Gavrilova moved into Investor Relations with a Cambridge-based biotech company. Anna then ran the Investor Relations function for a dual-listed oil and gas E&P company, Dragon Oil plc, for eight years. Prior to joining Mitie, Anna undertook an interim project at The AA plc.

Jade Eva specialises in internal communications with experience spanning the public and private sectors at companies including Aetna, Transport for London and InterContinental Hotels Group. During her time at TfL Jade reinvigorated internal communications for tube drivers by introducing a ground-breaking digital news app. She was also named one of the ’30 under 30’ by the Institute of Internal Communications in 2015 which recognises rising stars of internal communications.

Tori Cowley, Group Director of Corporate Affairs & Investor Relations, said:

“This is an exciting time for Mitie, as we transform the business, roll out our new technology-led Connected Workspace strategy and build on our market leading positions. These new hires to the corporate affairs team will give Mitie further expertise across communications and investor relations and I am delighted we’ve attracted such skilled and experienced people to the team.”
