Mitie awarded £15m contract with London Borough of Sutton

Mitie has been awarded a seven-year facilities management contract in excess of £15m with the London Borough of Sutton.

Mitie, the FTSE 250 strategic outsourcing company, has been awarded a seven-year contract in excess of £15m with the London Borough of Sutton.

Mitie will deliver a range of facilities management services including mechanical and electrical maintenance, building fabric repairs, security, front of house, waste and caretaking services across the Borough’s stock of 190 buildings and schools.

Mitie was chosen for its solution which will deliver value for money, robust contract management, and engagement with the wider community including apprenticeship opportunities.

Peter Mosley, managing director of Mitie’s Technical Facilities Management business, said:
